Arbitration Panel

The Arbitration Council is an independent body acting within the Institute and has the authority to
resolve all types of disputes through arbitration and mediation.

Disputes and conflicts of interest between members of the International Climate Action Institute, as
well as between members and the Institute, and the Institute and other organisations, as well as
violations of the Statute shall be resolved by decision of the Arbitration Council, which shall be made
in accordance with the provisions of the Statute.

The Arbitration Council consists of three members and shall render its decisions by a majority of
votes to the best of its knowledge, in accordance with the rules of the profession and customs, and
the principles of conscientiousness and honesty, and the rules of the Statute and the Law on
Associations.

She is Attorney at Law and for over twenty five years her field of practice is dealing with the environmental issues, and in the last ten years with the issues of Climate Change law and Climate policy through a variety of institutions.

Hrvoje Novosel, dipl.oec.

Following the completion of a math/IT curriculum at the Karlovac General High School, Hrvoje Novosel graduated from high school in Karlovac in 1991. From 1991 to 1996 he studied economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb.
